The drawing stage of furniture making (as in other fields) is where changes are easily made, and mistakes are the least costly.

It is imperative that a marqueter has quality artwork, allowing him or her to choose complementary materials, assemble packets, and execute the precise cutting.
Quality artwork and drafting also helps convey an idea into a visual message that is presented to you… (the client).

A large portion of time invested into any great furniture piece is allocated to research and drawing; these must be solid cornerstones.

Should an artist’s drawings be of a lesser quality or sophistication, the end result will be a certain reflection of this.

“When pencil or pen meets paper, this is when your project takes its first breath.”
